Econet is committed to protecting any personal data you share with us. We aim to be clear about how and why we process your personal data.

Who we are

Econet is a wildlife conservation group that undertakes a wide range of activities relating to the conservation of the natural environment in public open spaces and other sites in and around Reading. Throughout this notice, “our” “we” and “us” refer to the Econet, which is run by its Executive Council. Econet does not have a postal address.

In this notice, “website” refers to the Econet website and email under the domain name econetreading.org.uk (this website) which is registered by its webmaster.

Where we send your data

We use the Friendly Captcha anti-bot service on our website. This service is provided by Friendly Captcha GmbH. Friendly Captcha is used to check whether the data entered on our website (such as on a contact form) has been entered by a human or by an automated program.
